Terms of Service

These terms apply whenever you use Tiny Desk AI, the Tiny Desk AI video generator at aitinydesk.pro. By using the service, you accept them.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Using the service

You must be 18 or the age of majority in your country to buy credits or render a video. You need permission for every photo you upload and are responsible for keeping your sign-in and PayPal details secure.

You may use finished videos in personal and commercial social content, subject to platform rules and third-party rights. Do not present a clip as a real NPR Tiny Desk performance or endorsement. Impersonation, misleading content, implied endorsements, harassment, sexual or violent content and illegal use are prohibited. Label the video as AI-generated when you post it.

AI output and likeness

AI video is probabilistic. Every render differs a little and may contain artifacts, odd motion or differences from the source photo. We do not guarantee a particular likeness, result, reach, engagement or platform approval. Review the video before posting it.

Photos of minors, celebrities, athletes, coaches, other public figures and people who did not agree are not supported. Do not use output for false claims, product or political endorsements, or to place someone in a misleading context.

Prohibited content

Nothing you upload, write as a direction or create with Tiny Desk AI may fall into these categories:

  • Sexual or NSFW content: nudity, sexual acts or sexually suggestive material.
  • Violent or gory content: graphic violence, injuries, blood or cruelty, and threats of or incitement to violence.
  • Hate speech: content that attacks, demeans or harasses people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or a similar characteristic.
  • Child-unsafe content: child sexual abuse material and anything that sexualizes, exploits or endangers minors. Photos of minors are not accepted.
  • Impersonation: using a person's face without consent, posing as someone else, or presenting an AI video as real footage to mislead people.
  • Copyright or trademark infringement: photos, logos, characters, music or other material you do not own or have permission to use, and videos presented as an official release by NPR, an artist, label or brand.

Do not try to bypass our safety checks by disguising prohibited material or resubmitting rejected photos, and do not use the service for fraud, harassment, spam or illegal activity. Every photo receives an automated face and content-safety review before rendering. Extra directions are screened for prohibited content, and the video model applies its own safety review. Blocked renders are not delivered. A person reviews misuse reports. These checks do not catch everything, so you remain responsible for what you submit and share.

Breaches, suspension and termination

These terms apply while you use the service. You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@aitinydesk.pro.

If you break these terms, including by uploading a photo without consent, creating prohibited content or impersonating someone, we may take one or more of these steps based on the seriousness of the breach:

  • block or stop the render and delete the related photo, direction and video;
  • warn you or limit uploads and purchases;
  • suspend the account while we investigate or close it permanently;
  • remove unused credits obtained through abuse; credits removed for a breach are not refunded;
  • report the matter where the law requires it or a person's safety is at risk. Child sexual abuse material leads to immediate closure and a report to the competent authorities, such as the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Unless doing so would be unsafe or unlawful, we tell you what happened and why. If you believe we made a mistake, write to support@aitinydesk.pro and a person will review the decision.

Reporting misuse

We do not publish videos made here. Each video is shown only to the account that made it, and that person may download and share it. If you find a video you believe was made with Tiny Desk AI and it breaks these rules, especially one that uses your face or a minor's without consent, email support@aitinydesk.pro with the subject “Report misuse”. Include a link or screenshot, where you found it and, if it concerns you, how we can reach you.

A person reviews every report. Reports involving minors or sexual content are handled first, within 24 hours; others are usually handled within 2 business days. We keep the reporter's identity confidential. When a report is confirmed, we act as described above. Deliberately false reports may lead to account restrictions.

Credits and availability

Credit packs are one-time payments and never become subscriptions. Pack credits do not expire. A refused photo costs nothing, and if a render fails without delivering a usable video for reasons other than misuse, its credits return automatically.

Tiny Desk AI does not offer monthly or yearly plans. There are no recurring subscription charges. Buy a one-time pack when you need credits.

Every render uses ByteDance's Seedance through APIMart. We may pause rendering, change providers or models, set fair-use limits or change features to protect safety, quality and costs. While rendering is paused, uploads, renders and purchases are unavailable. We will try to announce significant changes in advance.

Payments and taxes

PayPal is the only payment processor. We are the seller. You may pay with a PayPal account or, where PayPal offers it, a card inside PayPal's checkout. PayPal handles the payment details under its own terms, and those details do not reach our servers.

The total shown in PayPal before payment is the amount we charge. Taxes and PayPal's available payment methods can depend on your location, and your bank may add currency-conversion fees.

Intellectual property

You keep your rights in the photos you upload and give us a limited license to process them for the requested render. Between you and us, you may use output you lawfully create, subject to third-party rights and these terms.

Tiny Desk is NPR's name for its concert series and is used here only to describe the trend. Tiny Desk AI is an independent fan-made parody tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by NPR, NPR Music, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson, The Gap Band, their labels or publishers, TikTok or CapCut. The Tiny Desk AI interface, text and original site materials belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before a claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you. Nothing here restricts rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes; the date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it. Questions: support@aitinydesk.pro.
